Agraw Club at Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane is organizing a Rif Cultural Day on Monday, December 3, 2007. The aim of this day is to promote, convey and raise cultural awareness about the Amazigh culture, particularly the Rifian one.

The program of this first Rif cultural event will include an exhibition of authentic paintings, jewelry and other Amazigh handicrafts in addition to some typical Rif dishes, which will be served at the restaurant of the university. A conference will be also held during that day in which many prominent guest speakers will discuss the theme entitled: “Rif Region: Mutations & Challenges”.

The pioneer of Amazigh music, IDIR, will come from France exclusively for this event, which will be closed with a concert full of his typical and fabulous songs.
