Tamazight is now available in Windows 8

The IT giant Microsoft has announced lately that it has added many languages to its newest Operating system Windows 8 and among these languages comes Tamazight. This version is going to be launched the coming Wednesday and Friday during a visit of Microsoft president Jean-Philippe to Morocco. Users can choose between two main keyboards. The first one is Tefinagh alphabet of Morocco developed by the Royale Institute of Cultural Tamazight and the second one is the Kabylian version of Tifinagh.

Microsoft has added Tamazight in order to back up the transit towards the democratic transition that the country witnesses. Also, in order to enhance the integration of Tamazight as a formal language of the country.
